Vemedy is a singer and songwriter based in West London specialising in dancehall-infused R&B.
After deciding to go solo in 2017 and inspired by the events of the Grenfell Fire Tragedy, Vemedy released his debut single “Somebody” engineered by Karmah Cruz. The music video for "Somebody” was directed by Kirx and premiered on GRM Daily.
During the summer of 2018, he released two further singles "Take Me Higher" and "Sprite". His third single "Sprite" features Bermudian singer and songwriter Nase. Towards the end of 2018, Vemedy recorded "Move Me", a release under RnBass Music engineered and produced in Los Angeles by J Maine (Omarion - "BDY on Me") and award-winning producer FlipTunesMusic.
Now in 2020, Vemedy has kicked off the year with his first single How Slow taken from his upcoming mixtape SEVEN. The project contains 7 songs and is set for release on July 7th 2020.
